Tell me about yourself:

My name is Lindsee Bee. I currently live in Minneapolis Minnesota. Ever since I was young I have always had a huge passion for art. I am 27 years old and I have a twin sister. I am a cat mother of 2. 🧡

How long have you been tattooing for?

I have been tattooing for 5 years!

What made you want to become a tattoo artist?

Tattooing has always been something I’ve been very interested in. I tried out many other styles of art so it was another form of art I wanted to try. A lot of my family and close friends would almost encourage me to learn so when I started I had instant support from them.

Why did you decide to customize the boots the way you did?

I customized these boots this way because I have a big love for the 1970s! A lot of my art is inspired off of 70s designs such as dishware, towels, any kind of decor.

How was working on this project for you?

This project was such a fun time. When I was a teenager I would draw on sneakers for friends and family so it brought me back to those days. I would love to paint on shoes again.🧡

Are you currently working on any other projects?

No other projects besides starting to get back to work. Slowly but surely and of course safely working at the shop again! Grateful to be back in my happy space!

How long have you been an artist for?

I’ve been drawing since I was probably 4 years old. I would always be coloring in books and doodling at school. Art makes me feel alive, and happy.. it’s truly my outlet and I don’t know what I would do without it.

What’s your favorite tattoo that you have & why?

My favorite tattoo would probably be my palm tattoo, it’s a 3 of swords. This specific card means a lot to me. I would often pull this card. To summarize, the card reads that no matter the obstacles in life, you will overcome it and you will be stronger.

How have you been keeping busy during quarantine?

During quarantine I’ve been super motivated to make more art. Been learning how to garden. Also Ive been restoring my 1989 Chevy van and that has honestly been taking up most of my time!
