Our Tattoo Creeper project is a way to collaborate with talented artists to add their spin on our creepers. We love working with creatives in any capacity & we want to see the world from their lens. To check out more of Sarah's work head to their Instagram

How would you describe your tattoo/art style?

Black and grey, dots and lines? It’s hard to describe it exactly - I like all sorts of things, from super soft shading, strong bold lines and patterns just made dot by dot.

I chose the ornamental style for the shoes since I very much enjoy that the most even after so long and I think it’s a very classic look.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

I get inspired by my surroundings - people or even just how things look in the area. I am into photography and my eyes are constantly scanning for interesting looking things. Often I take pictures with my phone for reference. I have a couple folders just with flowers and patterns I see outside!

What’s your typical process of coming up with a new design?

I do a lot of custom work for my clients that includes mostly their ideas - I just turn it into something that fits my style and we’re both happy. I like giving them what they want but providing help and knowledge to make it a nice tattoo.

My own designs/wanna do’s/new projects are usually random ideas. Something I saw somewhere and made a note of for example. Or a picture that inspires me - I like looking through books before I start something new.

What piece of yours is your all-time favorite and why?

A very long time ago I randomly met a girl (Hey, Netti!) during a Guestspot. It was my first time tattooing armpits and a then my first time tattooing a neck. I even ended up tattooing my first ornamental backpiece on her. She was there for it all and trusted me!

My favorite would be her legs then, we did those last. Both of her legs completely symmetrical with mandalas and flowers that connected from the front to the back. I will never forget how long we stenciled and how much fun we had during all these sessions!

I wish I would have more of these projects going on still! After moving countries it changed a bit for me and I am doing a lot of small tattoos now.

What is your favorite thing about being a tattoo artist?

Just having this outlet and at the same time doing something other people appreciate makes me feel good. Seeing clients all happy definitely makes my day.

As an artist you have so much freedom, even if you work with clients - in the end it’s your call.
